
This marker is located just west of the New Salem United Methodist Church at Riddle Hill, next to the Potawatomi Trail of Death Historical Marker. The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) symbol is in the upper left corner and the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) in in the upper right.
The plaque reads:
